Strawberry Tomatillo Smoothie
Adapted from Healing Tomatoes
Serves 4 (5 cups)

I never thought this would be as delicious as it is. Super refreshing, tart, and sweet.
The best type of dessert is one that you can feel good about.
1/2 cup soaked cashews
2.5 cups of strawberries (prefer frozen)
2 cups almond milk
11 cardamom seeds (or 2 tsp ground cardamom)
5-6 ice cubes
- Soak cashews in water overnight (or in boiling water for 1 hr).
- Peel the paper layer off of the tomatillos and wash very well (they will feel sticky).
- Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
